Career and Education

Garry Mapanzure gained popularity in 2017 when he released his hit single Wapunza that went on to garner more than 2 million views on YouTube. In 2019 he collaborated with Hillzy for the song TV Room that went on to be nominated for the Best Artiste, Duo or Group in African R'N'B & Soul category at the AFRIMA Awards.

In 2020 he signed to UK, London-based record label, Runabeat Music. He released his debut EP 'Sushi Season: The First', in March 2020. The EP contained hit songs like Mwari Pindirai.

Garry Mapanzure attended Kyle College in Masvingo and later North China University of Technology to study Architectural Design.
